A quick follow-up...
Yes, the cancellation out of Santa Barbara was
bad...
... and I was pretty upset at having to fly to
Phoenix... but the real kicker, in the end, was that the flight from Phoenix was
delayed an hour due to hydraulic problems! In the end, I didn't arrive at the
bachelor party until 10:30. The trip took me nine hours. I could've driven to
Vegas and back home again in that time... or nearly flown to England... or
Jamaica... and could easily have made it to
Maui.
Yes, I've decided that American
West really does suck.
